CAF – European Institute for Talents, Education, Research and Development is scinetific-education non-profit organization – teaching base of the University of Split, founded in 2004. In addition to modern and functionally arranged laboratories, the main potential & resources of the Institute, include doctors of science and masters in various fields: biomedicine, biotechnology, kinesiology, psychology, pedagogy, preschool education, nutrition, kinesitherapy, physiotherapy … etc. The development strategy of the Institute is focused on: Education & Development of Innovative Curricula, development of a Dual Career System, Transfer of Knowledge:  and support for Sports Talents.

Transfer of Knowledge: One of the most important determinants is knowledge transfer and education of future generations of scientists that are students and research assistants. Furthermore, the new knowledge as the result of Institute research activities has been continuously transmitted to the final beneficiaries engaged in academic community and sport by giving lectures, organizing workshops, print media, and direct communication.

Economic Development: The majority of activities or scientific research work, the Institute focuses on solving problems and develop possibilities of new technologies and products improvement in sport science that contribute to the potential of the community.

Scientific excellence: The Institute supports scientific research work aimed to solve the problems within its environment by using modern methods and tools, which will carry out new technologies and knowledge recognizable in Croatian and world scientific community. “Our institute is co-publisher of the International Scientific Journal “ACTA KINESIOLOGICA” (e-ISSN: 1840-3700; p-ISSN: 1840-2976). Additionally, the journal has received accreditation from ANVUR (Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes) as a Scientific Journal
